This coupled with the fact that there are many unexplained/poorly explained deaths (Rainbow, Henry, Robin's mom, ) where Robin is involved, and the ending where Henry shows Robin as being kind of abnormal and a little crazy (add in the fact that Robin's version of what happened is completely different) and maybe we can say that Adam and Robin always planned on killing Amelia together. His work on 'rock, paper scissors' follows the same lines as his life story (more or less). But he acts as if he's never been there before. Initially we see that Adam is planning something nefarious and that he seems to be kind of familiar with the house. I've been looking at a couple of theories on the internet, and I've formed my view on some parts of the story which were just left out for interpretation. I feel that the author was so focused on not letting the reader predict the book, that they forgot to take care of the loose endings and make the characters believable. I just completed reading this very confusing book after a lot of great reviews, and I must say that I'm a little disappointed.
